Delete your CoupleMoment account
This page explains how to permanently delete your CoupleMoment account and everything stored with it.
Delete it from inside the app
- Open CoupleMoment and sign in.
- Go to the Me tab (bottom right).
- Scroll to the bottom of the settings list.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Deletion happens immediately. You are signed out and the account cannot be recovered.
Or ask us to delete it for you
If you can no longer access the app, email support@couplemoment.com from the address on the account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We action these within 30 days.
What is deleted

What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase and subscription records — retained by Apple or Google, not by us. We keep a transaction reference for up to 7 years where tax law requires it. It contains no profile data.
- Encrypted backups — deleted data can persist in routine database backups for up to 30 days before those backups expire.
- Anonymous, aggregated statistics — cannot be traced back to you and are not deleted.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it separately in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings, otherwise it keeps renewing.
What happens to your partner
Your partner keeps their own account. The link between you is removed and they receive a fresh couple code. Data they created stays with them.
