We compared five couple apps that often come up side by side: CoupleMoment, Paired, Agapé, Lovewick and Evergreen. They overlap (all have questions for couples), but each is built for a different habit: a game night, a daily check-in, a planning tool or a course. The table shows what each costs and where it runs, then we cover who each one is really for.

Disclosure: we make CoupleMoment, so read this with that in mind. No app on this page paid to be here, and there are no affiliate links. We say where the others are stronger, and every fact links to its source.

App by app

Who each couple app is really for

CoupleMoment

Where it’s strong: the most to do together right now: 15 couple games (8 free, like Would You Rather and Turn Up the Heat) and 11 free question decks, on one phone or two. It’s the only one of the five where we found a web app, so Android and laptop users can play without installing anything.

Keep in mind: it’s newer and smaller than the others, it has no expert-written course, and there’s no Google Play app yet (Android works through the browser). The AI coaches, Mia and Max, are AI, not therapists.

Pick it if: you want a game night or a good conversation tonight, not a program.

Paired

Where it’s strong: the deepest content here. Paired says its content is created with licensed relationship therapists, scientists and academics, and it has guided multi-day journeys on topics like money and love languages.

Keep in mind: the free tier is one daily question; most of the library is in Premium, and we found no web app.

Pick it if: you want structured, expert-led relationship content.

Agapé

Where it’s strong: a simple, well-designed daily ritual: one question a day, and you only see your partner’s answer after you both reply. Agapé says its questions are vetted by a relationship researcher.

Keep in mind: it’s built around one question a day, so it’s less suited to a long game night. Some categories need a subscription, and we found no web app.

Pick it if: you want a two-minute daily check-in, especially long distance.

Lovewick

Where it’s strong: practical planning: a large library of date and gesture ideas, reminders for birthdays and anniversaries, notes on what your partner likes, and shared lists. Most of it is free.

Keep in mind: it’s more of an organizer than a game, and we found no web app.

Pick it if: you want date ideas and help remembering the little things.

Evergreen

Where it’s strong: habit building: daily questions, quizzes and short lessons from relationship experts, with points and streaks to keep you coming back. It covers topics like communication, conflict and money.

Keep in mind: its official pages don’t say what’s free, the App Store lists several price options, and we found no web app.

Pick it if: you like streaks and want to learn a little every day.

Method

How we compared

  • Same date, same store. We checked every app on November 4, 2026 on the US App Store, Google Play and the app’s own website.
  • Only what the source says. Features and prices come from official listings and pages. Where a listing shows several prices without naming the plan, we wrote “varies” instead of guessing.
  • No ratings, no rankings. Store ratings change daily and differ between iPhone and Android, so we left them out. The apps aren’t ranked; the order is ours, with CoupleMoment first because it’s our app.
  • Spotted something out of date? Tell us at our contact page and we’ll fix it.
