About CoupleMoment
In one line: CoupleMoment is a free app for couples who have run out of things to say to each other — one question a night, plus games, date ideas and conversation cards for the evenings in between.
Why it exists
Most relationships do not end in an argument. They thin out. Two people who used to talk for hours start reporting their day in four words and reaching for their phones. Nothing is wrong, which is exactly why nobody fixes it.
CoupleMoment is built around the smallest thing that reliably interrupts that: a question neither person can answer in one word. Not therapy, not a course, not a habit tracker that guilts you on day four. One question, ten minutes, phones down.
What is in the app
- A question a night — a new prompt each evening, written to be answerable by both of you and impossible to answer with “fine”.
- 50+ couple games — Would You Rather, Truth or Dare, Never Have I Ever, This or That, the 36 Questions, and more.
- Date, gift, movie and trip generators — one suggestion at a time, personalised to the two of you, instead of a list of fifty you will never read.
- Conversation cards for when a question is not enough and you want somewhere to go next.
- Love Tank — a daily tracker that turns small moments into something you can see.
What it costs
The app is free to download and genuinely usable for free — not a trial, and not a stub that asks for money at the second tap. CoupleMoment Premium is optional at $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year, and it unlocks more of the same rather than the only part that works.
Who makes it
CoupleMoment is built and run by Ravid Zer, an independent developer and the app’s founder. It is the name you will see as the developer on the App Store listing. There is no venture funding behind it and no growth target that needs your attention for its own sake. The app is designed to be opened for ten minutes and closed again.
What we are trying to do
Give two people who love each other one better conversation tonight than they had last night. Everything in the app and on this site is judged against that. A feature that keeps you scrolling but doesn’t get you talking to each other doesn’t ship.
CoupleMoment in numbers
- Launched: on the US App Store on August 12, 2026 (iPhone). A free web version runs at couplemoment.com.
- Question bank: 226 conversation cards in 11 decks, from Fun & Flirty to Money & Life Plans. Every deck is free in the app.
- Price: free to use. Premium is optional.
- Where the cards are published: the full bank is public at /data/question-bank.json, so anything we quote on this site can be checked against the app.
How the content on this site is made
- Question lists come from the app. When an article shows a card number (for example “card ft10”), the question is copied word for word from the same question bank the app uses.
- Articles are drafted with help from AI writing tools and reviewed before they go live. We say so because you should know, and because the parts that matter (the questions, the prices, the claims) are the parts we check.
- Research is named, not implied. When we cite a study, such as Arthur Aron’s 1997 “36 questions” experiment, we name it. When we don’t have data, we don’t invent a percentage.
- Product links can earn a commission. Gift and product guides contain affiliate links. That never changes what we recommend. See the affiliate disclosure.
- Corrections: if something here is wrong, email support@couplemoment.com and we will fix it and update the “Last updated” date on the page.
