Child Safety Standards

CoupleMoment Child Safety Standards. CoupleMoment is for adults 18 and over. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and any sexual content involving minors. You can report content or an account in the app (Report) or by email at hello@couplemoment.com. We review every report within 24 hours.
Who can use CoupleMoment?
Only adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account, send or accept a date invite, or connect with another person. We ask for an 18+ confirmation before anyone sends or accepts a date invite. If we learn that someone under 18 is using CoupleMoment, we close the account.
What is not allowed?
- Any content that sexualizes a minor, including images, video, text, drawings, AI-generated material and links to such material.
- Grooming: contacting, befriending or manipulating a minor for sexual purposes, or asking a minor for sexual images or to meet.
- Sextortion, or trading, selling or asking for sexual content involving a minor.
- Using CoupleMoment to find, contact or invite anyone under 18.
How do I report a concern?
- In the app: tap Report (or the … menu) on a person, a message, a date invite or a game invite. Choose “They may be under 18” or the reason that fits. You can also block them.
- On a date invite web page: tap “Report this invite”. No account is needed.
- By email: hello@couplemoment.com. Please don't attach illegal images; describe what you saw and where.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call 911. You can also report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
What do we do when we get a report?
- We review every report within 24 hours, and child-safety reports first.
- We remove violating content and close the accounts involved.
- We report apparent child sexual abuse material to NCMEC, as US law requires, and cooperate with law enforcement.
- We preserve the relevant information as the law requires.
How do we prevent abuse?
- CoupleMoment has no public profiles and no stranger discovery. People connect only through a personal invite or code.
- Invite text is checked on our servers for explicit content before it's sent.
- Report and Block are available on every person, invite and conversation.
