Community Guidelines
CoupleMoment is for adults who already know each other: couples, and people a few dates in. You only connect with someone you invited or who invited you. These rules keep it kind and safe. Breaking them can get content removed and accounts closed.
Be someone people want to date
- Be kind and honest. Be yourself. Don't pretend to be someone else, or to be older or younger than you are.
- Respect "no". "Not this time", an ended connection or a block is an answer. Don't try to reach someone another way after they've ended things or blocked you.
- Only invite people you know and who would want your invite. No mass invites, no strangers, no spam.
Not allowed
- Harassment and threats: bullying, stalking, intimidation, hate speech, slurs, or threats of violence or self-harm toward others.
- Unwanted sexual content: sexual messages or requests to someone who hasn't clearly said yes.
- Intimate images: sharing, or threatening to share, intimate images of anyone without their consent.
- Anything involving minors: CoupleMoment is 18+. Never invite, connect with, or talk sexually to anyone under 18. We report child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
- Scams and money requests: asking for money, gift cards, crypto or investments; links to scams; selling or promoting anything.
- Private information: posting someone's address, phone number, workplace, photos or messages without permission.
- Illegal activity: including drugs, weapons sales and human trafficking.
- Gaming the system: fake accounts, bots, getting around blocks or limits, or trying to make the AI coach say harmful things.
Meeting in person
We don't run background checks. For early dates:
- meet in a public place;
- tell a friend where you'll be;
- get there and home on your own;
- you can leave any time.
If you're in danger, call 911.
Report and block
- Block someone from an invite, a connection or a request. They won't be told, and they can't send you invites or requests again.
- Report a person, an invite, shared content or an AI coach reply (press and hold the reply).
- We aim to review every report within 24 hours. Depending on what we find, we may remove content, warn someone, end a connection, or close an account. Serious threats or child-safety issues are escalated immediately and may be reported to the authorities.
- Think a decision was wrong? Email hello@couplemoment.com with "Appeal" in the subject.
The AI coach
Mia and Max are AI, not people. They're here for date ideas and relationship tips, not for therapy or emergencies. If you're struggling, call or text 988.
