Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 29, 2026 · Last updated: October 29, 2026
This policy applies to "consumer health data" as defined by Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada law (NRS 603A.400 to 603A.550) and Connecticut law, collected by CoupleMoment, operated by Ravid Zer ("we"). Our general Privacy Policy covers everything else.
Consumer health data we collect, and why
CoupleMoment is not a health app, and we don't ask for health information. But some of what you choose to enter could be considered consumer health data:
- moods you log in the journal;
- answers in intimacy and personal question packs (for example about your sex life or how you feel);
- what you tell the AI coach about your wellbeing, stress, anxiety or relationship health;
- the fact that the AI coach showed you crisis resources, which we record only as an anonymous daily count, with no link to you.
We collect and use this only to provide the feature you asked for: saving your journal, showing your answers to you and your partner, and generating the coach's reply. We also use it to keep the service safe (for example the crisis check on AI coach messages). We don't use it for advertising, to infer anything about you, or for any other purpose.
Where it comes from
Directly from you, when you type or select it in the app.
Who we share it with
We don't sell consumer health data and we don't share it with third parties for their own use. We disclose it only to these processors, which handle it for us under contract:
- Supabase (database and hosting): journal moods and question answers;
- Anthropic (AI model provider): what you type to the AI coach, only after you give permission in the app.
Your partner sees answers and journal entries that you share with them in your couple space. We have no affiliates.
Your rights
You can:
- confirm and access the consumer health data we hold about you, and get a list of the processors we disclosed it to;
- delete it: delete individual entries in the app, delete your whole account in the app (Profile → Delete Account), or email us;
- withdraw your consent to the AI coach at any time in the app's privacy settings;
- appeal if we refuse a request, by replying "Appeal" to our answer. If we deny your appeal, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General (atg.wa.gov), or your own state's attorney general.
To make a request, email hello@couplemoment.com from your account email (or tell us your account email). We reply within 45 days, and we won't charge you or treat you differently for using these rights.
